A Masjid of Our Own — At Last
For years, Muslim families in Tifton, Georgia have gathered for Jumu’ah in borrowed university conference room, with no permanent masjid. The nearest masjids are nearly 50 miles away—too far for daily prayers, children’s Qur’an classes, and a true community center.
By the grace of Allah (SWT), that is about to change.
We have signed a contract to purchase a building—formerly a church—to establish Tifton’s first masjid, inshaAllah. The purchase and renovation both require larger community support.
A church is not designed for salah. To transform it into a masjid, we must reconfigure the interior, create proper prayer spaces, add wudu (ablution) facilities, adjust restrooms, and prepare the building for worship and community use.
We invite you to be part of this sadaqah jariyah. Every donation and every share helps establish a house of Allah where future generations will pray, learn, and grow.
Every sujood made here, every child learning deen—may Allah include you in its reward. Ameen.
